St. patricks Day isn’t usually a day we celebrate at our home. We arent Irish. But we are feeling festive and we tend to have way too much fun exploring new and fun ways to introduce our kids to the cultures of other people and thought St. Patricks day would hold some enjoyable activities for us. We will be just focusing on the creative arts aspect of St Patricks Day on this post (otherwise I tend to get really carried away). Since I have been trying to do one activity with my ‘Littles’ each day, we are making it more like St Patricks Week. Why not? Surely there is more to it than just green cupcakes and shamrocks!
St Patricks Day Stained Glass Rainbow
This is such a cute idea and can be virtually used for any holiday!
Sparkly St Patricks Dough – This literally has loads of alternatives that you could do on your own. I’m not fond of glitter but maybe if its nice out, this could be an out door project for us!
Confetti Rainbow Shamrocks – I pretty much feel the same way about Confetti as I do Glitter, but I can see this being atleast an hours worth of outdoor fun play.
Leprechaun Handprints (a bit different than the one above)
St Patricks Day Word Search (Grader School Readers)
Super Cool Leprechaun Hats (might be too advanced for toddlers. Maybe 8 and up)
Potted Rainbow Project (might be a bit too advanced for toddlers. Maybe 8 and up)
St Patricks Day Headbands (Older Kids or teens)
Surely a St Patricks Fun Food Post will be in order…Green Cupcakes are a MUST!
